Interfaith Officiants

I'm Lutheran and FI is Jewish.  Neither one of us are particularly religious, but we'd like to have both a pastor and a rabbi to officiate our ceremony (this is more for my family than anything).  It's important to my dad that it be someone "legit" and now just some joe-schmo that was licensed online or something like that.  Does anyone know how we go about finding this combo who will work well together?  I know many, if not most, rabiis will NOT do this.  Thanks!

I'm Jewish and FI is not...we are using a rabbi only for our ceremony but he might be willing to work with a pastor as well. I would call and ask. His name is Rabbi Alfred Landsberg (732) 549-4442 ext. 3. He seems to be pretty liberal, as far as rabbis go.

We went through Interfaith Clergy - they have a website. I'm Catholic and FI is Jewish. They will set you up with clergy who are available for your day - you speak over the phone and make an appointment to meet them in person, to make sure you feel comfortable with each other or you can ask to meet with someone else if you didn't care for their style. We ended up using the first priest and rabbi recommended to us. They are legit people, not some fly by night company. Our priest is retired now, but used to be the priest at a parish in Newark, and our rabbi is still active in her temple. The good thing is that everyone in the group has worked together before, so they have the ceremony down to a science and it flows really well since they know each other. I would def. reach out to Interfaith Clergy - I know other people on this board went through them as well.

Go with Rabbi Bill Kurry!  We will be using him for our ceremony, I'm Jewish and the FI is agnostic.  Rabbi Bill is hilarious, and he's also super flexible and will include or exclude anything you want.  He also works with a priest.  Here is his info:
