Jack Goodman band/dj?

Hi Ladies!
Has anyone heard Jack Goodman's bands play live? how are they? is there a specific one you recommend?  I don't know if I should even go with a band or a DJ.  If there is a specific band or DJ you highly recommend, please let me know!  i need to book soon :)  I'm looking for at least a two person DJ or a 5 person band. 

Another question I have is if I go with a band/DJ combo, do they transition smoothly?  i dunno if it would be weird to have both?

    HI!  I am a NY bride (but grew up in NJ) and love to look at this board, makes me miss home.  Anyway, I don't know anything about Jack Goodman band, but the band we are using is AMAZING!  It's Soul Revival and I believe they have a DJ if you wanted to have a band/dj combo.  Also, they play live, so you can see them, it was really important to FH and I.  I know they are having a showcase this Monday b/c a couple we know is going.
