RSVPs are a pain in the @ss.

Just needed to get that off of my chest.

I guess I shouldn't complain, from what I've heard from other girls, my situation isn't too bad.  My RSVP deadline is next week and I have 70% of the RSVPs.  Only 36 invitations have no RSVP yet.  I just can't believe how many people aren't bringing a +1. Our minimum is 175 and we invited 234. So far we have 137 adults coming and 72 bodies outstanding. I'm getting nervous, I never thought we wouldn't meet our minimum.  I think that people who are on the fence wait & it's more likely to get more no responses than yes responses at this point.

Ignore my discrepancies in my ticker.  There are 247 with the kids and all of them are coming (of course ha ha)

My best RSVP "incident" was the woman who replied "+3."
She invited a couple from her neighborhood along.

I just had a distant relative ask if she could "swap" her husband for her adult daughter.  I said that was fine.  Then she wanted to bring the daughter's infant child.  Um...no.

kasabby: It was DEFINITELY RIDICULOUS. lol.

It was MH's best man's/best friend's mom... we had him explain to her that it wasn't really a block party/church picnic kind of thing LOL.

If I forget you should do it & open it with your story.  Maybe we should have a contest :)

I'm going to be mailbox stalking even more the next few days.  I hope I don't have to make a million phone calls.  I know one side of my family will help, but I don't think I'm going to get much help from the other.  I really don't want to call myself, it feels weird saying, "um, hi, are you coming to our wedding?"

I don't even want to think of this part of my wedding. My family say that since they are family they don't need to RSVP because i should know they are going... REALLY!?!?!
