Winston-Salem eyebrow waxing

My MUA suggested that I get my eyebrows done before I have my bridal portraits.  My portraits are Jan 15.  How long before then should I get my eyebrows taken care of?  Where can I go in W-S to get them waxed?

I get my brows done every three weeks. I'd suggest having them done 1-2 days before (so the redness goes down and you can see any stray hairs and pluck them yourself). I like Balance Day Spa (Kernersvile and Greensboro) and Avanti Salon (High Point and Greensboro).

Wow, I'm lucky enough to find a chance to pluck mine every couple of weeks... can't afford someone to do it for me.  The salon at Ulta does eyebrows and do a pretty good job from what a friend of mine says.   I agree with PP about 1 to 2 days prior for redness.  A little eye rejuvenating gel will help too.

Kelly I have to pay someone to tame my beasts of brows! They get scary! I definitely got my dad's eyebrows. Ha ha

Aw, it's okay.  I got lucky that my brows stay pretty tame, I guess. I hate plucking them. Just did it the other day.  It is excruciating because I'm always scared I'm going to over-pluck and my hand becomes kind of "tentative" which is BAD!!! 

No more brow beasts.  Tame the beasts and keep them locked up!!!! :-)

I've gone to Van Davis Aveda in the Thruway Shopping Center on Stratford Road in Winston Salem. Jessica is the person who does it and she is fantastic. I highly recommend them.
