Hello,
I created a share site on Shutterfly for our guests to (hopefully) upload their photos after the wedding. I am chemically blonde and simply cannot figure out how to have guests upload the photos. I saw someone's photocards that simply said:
go to website
go to "guest photo album"
hit "add picture"
But I tried to follow them and can't get it to work.
Has anyone used Shutterfly and know a simple way to do it? TIA!!
Re: Shutterfly Share Site question
Warning, though - I believe (and I could be wrong) that the way Shutterfly works allows guests to accidentally delete other guests' photos. You may want to use a site that has some type of verification in place to avoid any accidental deletions.
I used weddingturtle.com and would be more than happy to share the login information with you if you'd like to see how it works (we have almost 2,000 pictures uploaded to our site).
[QUOTE]Thanks. Unfortunately I already glued all the photoshare cards. I wish I had used wedding turtle. It seems so easy. Glad you're still with us!

Oh okay. Nevermind then! And I'm only here until TK Gods decide to close the account. I keep logging in to see if it's happened yet, but they seem to be taking their sweet time. I already sent 3 requests.
I don't have another Shutterfly account to test it with, but I don't believe there would be an option to delete pictures in the album. Best thing to do would be to create another Shutterfly account and test it, as though you were a guest for the wedding. It is hard to test/know for sure when you are using the owner account.
I gave all my guests a card that says how to uplaod them, I created an account and gave them my login information and they uploaded them. After they did that, I uploaded them onto my Shared Site and it was done.
It had a few extra steps, but it worked pretty well!

If you want, I can send you the password for my page, and you can try uploading a photo as if you were a guest?
