Location for Bridal Party pictures Metuchen/Edison area

We're getting married in Metuchen and our reception is in Edison.  Can anyone recommend some places for our pictures and the pictures with our bridal party?  We've already looked at Roosevelt Park and Rutgers Gardens.  I've been told those are our best choices or to go to New Brunswick.  And if you know of any spots in case it rains, it'd be much appreciated!

Is Colonia Park in Somerset too far? They have a rose garden and a perennial garden. You need a permit but that's where we'll be taking our photos.

Wow, Colonia Park looks beautiful!  But it is too far.  I'd like to be within 15 minutes of the reception site.  Thanks and good luck!!

Butting in: smw just an fyi the rose garden at colonial park is closed for wedding photography until 2011. We wanted to take our wedding pics there... however I believe the perennial garden was available. Make sure you call and find out because I think you also have to pay a $75 permit fee...

Thanks rlb! Yeah we got our permit for the perennial garden, also because at the end of October even if the rose garden was finished there wouldn't be roses. It's also a permit fee per garden which is a little bit much.
