Petal toss

I only need enough petals for 35 guests. Where can I find the best deal on fresh petals for this? Thanks!

Re: Petal toss

  • Do you know for sure that your venue will allow fresh petals?  Just asking, because the church in which I work doesn't allow them-they stain the carpet. For that matter we don't really allow anything tossed because it's such a PITA to clean up.Have you checked with your florist?
"Trix, it's what they/our parents wanted. Why so judgemental? And why is your wedding date over a year and a half ago? And why do you not have a groom's name? And why have you posted over 12,000 posts? And why do you always say mean things to brides?" palegirl146
  • A local florist should be able to get them for you.
  • Don't go to a florist for petals, they'll charge you out the butt.  Go to the grocery store, spend ten bucks on a dozen roses, and get out some stress destroying them yourself.  If you find it's not enough, go buy another dozen.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
  • LOL! Thanks! I am going to need a dozen roses for the pews anyways so I might as well just do that. :-) Our venue does allow petal toss so I've got that covered. Thank you all for your help! :-)
  • A lot of online wholesale flower vendors sell petals.
  • I have fallen in love with the idea of getting freeze-dried petals.  You can order then now and as long as you keep them sealed they stay good for monthes.  The, the day of your wedding just open the bag and stick it in the bathroom while you take a shower and the petals became hydrated and feel like they are brand new!  They even keep their smell!  You can order a sample online at flyboynaturals.com
  • cutypie~ no way! Are you serious? That is insane. I have seen them online but did not know they could literally be brought back to life. I have seen them on save on crafts website before. Where have you found the best deal?
