soo umm yeah- I just passed out

I'm literally sitting here working on wedding things and I suddenly got really dizzy I rant to the kitchen to get water and then sat down in front of the airconditioning cause I was sweating so much.  I could swear that I sat down in a chair but I woke up a few seconds (minutes??) later on the floor.  My lower back hurts which makes me think I slid off of the chair and onto the floor.  I was so naseaous and my head was killing me... so after lots of water and a nap I feel alot better but I'm supposed to meet FI and FSIL at 5:00 to go take "engagement" pictures.  I guess I just need to stay hydrated!  Now I really hope that my wedding day is not this hot!

That's not good. Stay hydrated, but also have someone check out your head for bumps or something. I've passed out before, and the biggest concern is if I hit my head on the way down.

Also, eat something. It could be low blood sugar.

Water and do you have ice pops (with sugar) orange juice or soda? I've had issues with fainting in the past and usually getting sugar in my system helps. The worst was when I was going to the bathroom and passed out, hitting my head on the bathtub. Not fun to have your father come running in to find you on the bathroom floor with pants down to you ankles and not responding. Eek!

Be careful! I know everyone says this but stay hydrated! I got really sick last night and I think it had something to do with not being hydrated. I have been drinking a ton of water today.

Thanks girls.  No bump but I think my back will be bruised.  I doubt that it is sugar cause I ate 2 cinnamon suagr muffins for breakfast (loaded with sugar!).

Our bedroom last night was really hot, even with the air on so maybe that's when I got dehydrated....This used to happen to me when I was litte.  I passed out a few times at summer camp and then once in high school.  I also almost passed out 2 years ago when I was teachng about blood in the 6th grade-- since then, I skip that page!!

That's very scarey! I've passed out before due to the heat and low blood pressure. Keep yourself very hydrated! Lots and lots of water. Also like PP said, ice pops with sugar, or a piece of candy also help to raise your sugar levels. Try and stay cool! Fell better!

It could still be your blood sugar- since you spiked it this morning it could have quickly gone down. It's better to try and keep it at an even level, but try to get it up a bit.

Allie's right. Having so much sugar could have spiked your insulin levels, and now you're low again.

...Sorry, hypoglycemic. My first instinct is "LOW BLOOD SUGAR."

Hope you feel better and thank goodness you didn't hit your head.  I was just walking outside to get the mail and thought...what if I were to pass out right now?  No lie, then I came back in and read your post.  Weird!

Feel better...I've passed out several times as well and it can be scary. I have low blood pressure, so if you do as well, you may want to eat pretzels or something salty (I hate salt and my doctor always tells me to eat more...lol). I've also passed out from seeing a large amount of blood and low blood sugar. There are many things that could have caused it combined with this crazy heat...try to relax, eat something and stay hydrated :)

Hope you feel better.  This actually happened to me today.  Was on my way to visit a possible venue and I fainted in my elevator.  Good thing FI was there to bring me back to bed.  I missed my appointment though.
