Honeymoon Review! Couples Tower Isle in Ocho Rios, Jamaica

*Posted on the honeymoon board, but figured some ladies here might find it helpful as well....

DH and I got back last weekend from our honeymoon here ~ and absolutely loved it! The grounds were breathtaking, the food was great, excursions (such as the one we took to Dunns River Falls) were all included, and the weather was perfect every day. We really can't say a bad thing about it!

We booked through Liberty Travel and got a phenomenal deal during their Honeymoon Sale. We flew direct, 1st class, both ways, and got our 1 week stay with all food & drinks included for $2600. (We flew from Newark - /> Montego Bay.)

Speaking of Montego Bay, the ONLY downside about staying here, or anywhere in Ocho Rios, is that it is about 2 hours away from the airport! But the shuttle is included, and we knew this when we booked. We were just so excited to get there, and kept busy so it flew! And on the way back we were so exhausted we napped. It was definitely worth it.

Couples is adults only, and so beautiful! They fall all over catering to you, which surprised me because of their strict 'No Tipping' policy. But the staff was so nice & friendly, and remembered us every time they saw us (they called us 'New Jersey' and would fist pump every time they saw us! LOL)

It was not at all crowded when we stayed ~ less than 1/2 full! I guess technically we were there during hurricane season, but we had perfect weather every day.

There are so many food options to choose from! Our favorite was the Asian restaurant (pictured in 1st photo below) and we ate their twice. Normally you have to make reservations in advance for dinner at 3 of the restaurants, but we had no problem getting reservations as soon as an hour before we wanted to eat, as the resort was so empty.

We definitely would like to go back some time, and would highly, highly recommend Couples to other honeymooners! Here are some pics:

how was the beach there?? i heard something about fuzzy rocks in the water!.. so happy you posted here ! we are planning on going to jamaica too!
