No Smiles for Driver's License Photos

It apparently went into effect in Jan, but I got my license renewed last month and have a nice big smile.  Someone else I know went earlier this month and is smiling too.  Not sure how much this is being enforced right now.

It all depends on the station you go to. I just got mine done last month and I have a big smile.

I was smiling in June in Lodi.  I don't know how though I had to wait 3 hours to get up there.

Good news for you is Bayonne hasn't caught up yet.  That's where I got mine.

I went to the one in Journal Square (jersey city) last week and they let me smile. I've never heard of this before. Does the link state the reason they're doing this? (I guess I should just click the link. Lol)
