Highly Recommended Photographer!

If anyone is in the market shopping for a photographer, I would highly recommend using David Eric Photography in Maywood. They were absolutely incredible! They took the BEST formals before the reception, and did not bother us ONCE throughout the whole reception. All of the pics that they took throughout the night were out of this world. Our wedding would not have been the same without them!! They captured the night perfectly!

apperently he was voted 2007 pick on the Knots best weddings... How can you confirm that?

Cammie, tons of photographers get voted Best of the Knot each year.  Some of them are great, some of them are not so good (like The Pros, for example).  It is something I'd guess he isn't lying about, but it also isn't something that I'd put much weight in.

Dear Ladies,

I can assure you that David Eric did an incredible job at my wedding on February 13, 2010 at the Rockleigh Country Club. Not only did the pictures exceed our expectations, but the level of professionalism and knowledge that they also offered was remarkable. We had very high standards when selecting our vendors, and would not settle for anything mediocre. We researched many different companies, and discovered that David Eric was everything we wanted...and more. 

I'm insulted by the fact that my authenticity and integrity are being questioned, so if any of you have any further concerns that need to be addressed, I will be more than happy to discuss them with you. 

As an educator, I am going to give you the same advice I would give to my students..If you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all!  It's appalling that people like you can take a great resource for future brides and turn it into an open forum for negativity. Take the time you spent defaming this company and use it for something good.

If I were to post a rave about one of my vendors and someone questioned the validity of it, the last thing I would be is  "insulted by the fact that my authenticity and integrity are being questioned" Really?  Is it that meaningful to you that some strangers on a public forum think you're full of crap?

And I don't see anyone defaming the company, just questioning when a brand new person comes on this board giving a glowing review.  If you spent any time here (which you clearly don't with your 7 posts) you would understand that there have been a barrage of fake posts promoting vendors.  I wouldn't spend too much time checking your PMs, I doubt anyone will ask you to discuss it further.

Please don't take offense, but it is really hard to believe posters with low post counts and no information in their sigs/profiles are truly brides and not vendors.

You are right. I am guilty of writing only 7 posts. I am sure that this does not make me a credible source, but you can attribute my low posts number to the fact that I just finished planning my wedding and am working full time! That does not leave much time to sit on the internet and blog. However, I took the time to give credit to the people who deserved it-my photographer being one of them. 

To reinforce the fact that I am a "real" bride....

I was married in February of this year. We used David Eric as our photographers. Petals Premier in Teterboro was our florist, and we had 4,500 white roses flown in from South America. Our arrangements were out of this world and truly made the Bristol room at the Rockleigh seem dream-like. Adam Loffel and his floral production team were incredible and made my dreams become a reality. 

Town Limo in Lyndhurst provided us transportation from our church and I would ALSO HIGHLY RECOMMEND them. They were incredible, professional, punctual, and personable! DJ Gary from Craig Scott was our musical entertainment ALSO HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 

I hope these other "rave" reviews do not lead you all to believe that I am also a florist, entertainment and limo company. I am a customer who is more than happy with the services that were provided at my wedding, and feel that they deserve mention, which is what I thought the knot was intended for.

As the PP said, we have been having lots of vendors make profiles, then come on here "raving" about xxx service.  It is normally easier for us to figure out who is "real" and who is not when a bride has a higher post count, or when she/he is reviewing their vendors, lists multiple vendors and gives us the good, the bad and the ugly of all of them.  Not just one.

Thank you Holly. If people were taking advantage of this site then that is awful, and thank you for clarifying. I posted information about my photographer and other vendors with good intentions. I hoped that other brides could have the same wonderful wedding experience my husband and I had due to their professionalism. Again, thank you for the kind wishes and good luck to you!
