Budget Venue Ideas Needed!!!

Help!!!  I am looking for a small venue to hold my wedding/reception in April.  I want a simple space that I can decorate and bring in my own caterer...  It will be a D.I.Y. wedding so just looking for a space to rent... any ideas?

    The Hermitage (has an exclusive caterer) in Ho-Ho-Kus

    The Clubhouse in Rio Vista, Mahwah (if you are a member or can get one to sponsor you)

    The first thing that comes to mind is a VFW or a hall.  I don't know of too many other places that would allow an outside caterer.

    There are a few womens clubs in northern Jersey that I can think of (Englewood and Ridgewood come to mind) Also, there is a 4-H club in East Brunswick that has hall rentals.
