SI / NJ Photographers??

Hi!  

Now that we have the date, church and venue booked i can start to focus on more of the details of the wedding planning adventure!  

Anyone have any good photographer/videographer recommendations?? I know that pictures are the one thing that will be lasting forever(besides our marriage! hehe) from our big day so I definitely want to make sure are pictures are FABULOUS!  I am less concerned about video... bc in all reality -- how many times will we really watch it all??? (maybe when im mad at my future hubby! haha!)  Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

Id love to try and cap the price around 5 if possible!

Take a quick look at the NJ Knottie Vendor Review site (LINK). It has a lot of great recommendations. 

FWIW, I'm using RyoNo Photo for my photography and GT Modern Creations for my video. I didn't think video was important either until I realized that there is only so much that can be captured in pics. They can't hear your voice or really capture your emotion as well. We decided it was important enough for us & we went with it. Everyone has a different idea.

5k opens up a lot of possibilities.  We loved working with Robert Wayne Photography.  He's in northwestern NJ; not sure if he travels that far but I would imagine so.

my recs for that price are Robert Wayne or Jason Rhee for photog and GT modern creations or villanovision for video. 

But it also really depends on your style. I loved the style of all four of the above and the prices were definitely much more affordable than many other quotes I got.

ideally with photog and video id like to stay under 7!! .. i definitely want to have amazing pictures from the big day -- but the more video's i watch the more i see how important it is to have a great videographer too!

I am using ThePros.  I met with a few different photographers/videographers and was getting astronomical prices.  I met with the pros and got EVERYTHING i wanted for a little over 5k.  We took our engagement photos in August and they came out beautifully.  They also have several photographers that work for the company and each has their own individual style.
