Donation favor questions

We are going to have donation favors in addition to a candy bar. For those of you who did this, what did you use to state you gave a donation? Was it the size of a business card/postcard, where did you display it? If you have any pictures that would be awesome.

We are putting a postcard like size card at each place setting.  I know a lot of people don't like that, but it is personal to us and in "in memory of" donation.

Mine came from the American Cancer Society and they sent me something, so I used that.  I just placed it at each person's seating.  Depending on where you are donating, they may provide something.  Like the PP, I know some people don't like the donation as a favor thing, but again it was a very personal thing to my DH and our families (both my grandfather and aunt had been diagnosed this past summer, plus several memebers of DH's family) and we choose to put the money we would have spent on chocolate bars or something like that towards a worthy cause.

American Cancer Society is where we are donating too. Do you have a picture of what the cards they sent you looked like? I love the idea of donation favors and it is very personal to us since we lost 3 grandparents to cancer as well as a few of my other close relatives and a few relatives that fought cancer and won

I was just at a wedding that did a donation. They had little favor tags that stated where the donation went and who it was in honor of. It was attached to a ltlle favor bag that had hershey kisses in it.

we printed out a little something and framed three of them and had them at the gift table, the sign in plate table and one at the bar

I was thinking of printing them on nice paper and making them into little scrolls tied with ribbon in my wedding colors. Do you think that would like nice or tacky?

I think that would be nice, but might be a time consuming project that people will just look at for a second and then forget.

I went to a wedding in Sept that did a donation favor. The donated to a foundation that provides music therapy to cancer patients and their wedding was rock n' roll themed so they just printed little slips of paper and tied them to pink rock candy and they read "Love Rocks" and on the inside the info about the donation. I tought it was the best presentation I've seen of a donation b/c it tied into their theme and colors (pink & black) perfectly and wasn't expensive b/c rock candy is super cheap and they just used thin cheap ribbon to tie the paper which they clearly printed at home.

I'm all for donation favors, I wish everyone would do it!

here is the link I used.  I just picked the wording I liked, the style font and the paper.  They made it up, sent me a PDF to approve, and then sent them to me.  I put them right on the table as is.  But a friend of mine did this as well (she was the one who gave me the idea) and she did her's as scrolls.  Here is the link:
