Wedding venue with Greek/Roman Pillars?

My Fi and & we're planning on having the wedding on a weekday instead to save on $$$. Does anyone have any suggestions on venues that has some greek/roman pillars with perhaps a gazebo and a garden. Price per person ~$50
Thank you in advance Smile

So you want mahhhble cawlums? (http://www.hulu.com/watch/2347/saturday-night-live-mikes-marbleopolis) Wink

I think you have a bigger challenge with your budget, not the decor.

hahahah "transform your living room...the bathroom"...

It's just I've liked greek and roman architecture since I was young, and I especially like the greek/roman columns. yes, I think I like those "cawlums" heehee they don't have to be marble though Smile

I know that The Tides has a garden (and I think a gazebo), and depending on the month you might be able to swing $50pp for a weekday reception. No columns, though.

But by "weekday," do you mean Monday-Thursday? Or a Friday?

I've heard and seen a few icon pics of The Tides, but I didn't get to click on it, and I'm on their website now, and it's WOW! My Fi & I are planning on July though, so looking at the pics of the place and since our wedding will be during peak, it might not be $50 pp : (

This should definitely fit the bill on price... they have column-ish looking structures outside but I don't remember the inside

My reception was at The Tides. I got $80pp for a Saturday night in April 2010 (125 people minimum), and it would've been $65pp for a Friday night in March 2010. So a Thursday might work, because most weddings aren't on Thursdays and in July there won't be any proms to fill their calendar, so they may be itching for some business.

Bridgewater Manor in Bridgewater and Costa Del Sol in Union gave us similar price quotes. Maybe try Gran Centurions in Clark, too, and in West Orange there's The Manor, Mayfair Farms and The Atrium.

Would you consider a restaurant reception? That might work better than a reception hall. You'd still get good food and a bar package, just cut out some of the bells and whistles that a hall would include in their charge.

Or is there any way you could do a December-March date? Those prices are lower to begin with, and a Thursday reception would only bring it down further. And if you do a late 2010/early 2011 date, you could get a short-term booking discount, too.

Thanks rlb; My Fi & I visited Pantagis last week; Al showed us packages at $65, $85 and up though. I'm hoping to find a venue that is ~$50. Also I thought that there might be too many events going on in one building since they have alot of rooms.

I'm waiting on my sister to graduate from college, so after June 2011 and it's been so long already, we can't wait additional months : D
Also do the one's you listed have additional per person fees or such for like the ceremony space/time? I'll check them out.
    Thank you again.

Most of them did, yes. But I didn't pay close attention to those details because we had a church ceremony in another town.

I want to say that The Tides was something like an extra $6pp for an on-site ceremony, but don't quote me.
