Sorry to my FB friends who read this but my mother & I went into our hair salon today to make an appointment & learned that our beautiful, 38 year old stylist/colorist passed away last Monday.
An aneurysm (she was unaware she had) burst in her brain while she was using the treadmill. Her husband said she had no headache, no signs that anything was "wrong."
She has been kept on life support though brain dead since many of her family members are coming from overseas; she will likely be disconnected later today.
Her daughter is 17 and was headed to Penn State on a full scholarship this fall (now telling the family she refuses to go) & she also has an 11 year old son in addition to her daughter.
She was in my mother's store days before her death showing my mom pictures from a recent vacation... and I'm stricken by this news, thinking of her children and this unfathomable loss.
