Has anyone taken this cruiseline out of NY to Bermuda? Your experience?

MH and I are thinking of taking a sort-of last minute (July, or August) cruise from NY/NJ.

Any great criuses you rec? I've  only done Carnival a few times and although they were fun, wanted to try another line. This is also MH first cruise..lol.

Any rec's are greatly appreciated!

    I have been on Norwegian, Princess, and Celebrity. Celebrity is by far the best experience I have had. I've gone on Celebrity 9 times (cruised 14 times total). Old ships, new ships, doesn't matter. The food and service is always the best. The newer Princess ships are great too. I wasn't a huge fan of Norwegian. The ships and food weren't nearly as great. It wasn't awful, but I would never go again. I have heard that Royal Caribbean is similar to Celebrity and Princess.

    I've sailed on a lot of lines.  We did the Dawn last summer to Bermuda.  Bermuda itself was wonderful!!!!   The food was OK..  There are 2 dining rooms and they keep the same menu each night and just substitute 1 "special" in each category.  We were not HUGE fans of the food, however, we did eat at some of the specialty restaurants and they were yummy.  They had deals whenever we were at sea for 2 for 1 so we only went on those nights, the asian was our favorite.  The ship was decent, no real complaints.  I prefer royal carib or celebrity personally, but for a quick get away from NY norwegian isn't bad.

    I went on the Norwegian Cruise 2 years ago.  My family had a great experience.  We loved Bermuda!  Like a previous post mentioned we weren't crazy about some ofthe food and tended to eat at the specialty restaurants.  However, overall we loved it!

    I did it in 2004 and HATED it with a passion. Dont expect food at night unless you want greasy food. The pool and hot clubs close at an early time. So unless it changed since then. I would never use that cruise line again

    I went to Bermuda on Norwegian years ago and had a nice time. I'm thinking of going back, and will most likely be using Norwegian out of NY as well.
