NJ Gal Looking for affordable BM dresses!

Hello ladies! I am starting to look for bridesmaid dresses for my bridal party. My color theme is White, yellow, and gray. The men are wearing gray tuxedos and the girls are wearing yellow gowns. however, I cant find affordable floor length yellow gowns that are pretty! If anyone knows of any NJ bridal salons that have affordable beautiful dresses I would love your input!

Thanks for you help!

On a side note I chose all white flowers with accents of yellow just here and there! What do you ladies think??? Any great ways to incorportate yellow and gray in other ares without over doing it??? I am using all three colors in the invites!

thanks again!

I'm in a wedding with floor length yellow gowns from Priscilla of Boston- Melissa Sweet line. They're very nice dresses but not at all affordable!

Try Hollywood Bridal for BM dresses. They carry Bill Levkoff and he has some great color options, not sure about yellow though.

I bought B2 3045.  its a Jasmine dress (floor length).  We got them from Pearls place for $127.  I found them at Park Ave for $155 I believe.

My girls are wearing floor length Bill Levkoff gowns that were $190 including alterations- which I would consider $150+40 alterations. They're from Hollywood Bridal.

Alfred Angelo has a pretty yellow color.  I got all floor length dresses there for less than $170.  Check their website.

My girls got their dresses at Hollywood Bridal for $170. They were pink. You'll have to look in the catolog for other color options. Not all stores carry additional colors - usually just one dress in one color. You should try netbride or pearlsplace for discounts online.

I actually ordered my bridesmaid dresses from nordstrom dot com. They have a whole bridesmaid section on-line and very affordable. Mine were $118. Not sure if they will have what you are looking for, but worth a shot. Plus they have the best return policy around.

    Your colors sound pretty!

Park Avenue Bridals in Verona. They have a great selection of gowns and acutally I was there today and they have quite a few yellow gowns in their display window. Good luck!

Russells in Linden, great prices and people... mine were $145.  Added Attractions in Garwood is good too.

i second Netbride.com.  I was a bit wary but the dresses are great and they fit all my bm.  They retailed at 225 when i was looking and we paid 157.  Best of all the customer service at netbride was extremely helpful.  I only wish I ordered from them for other bm dresses in the past.

I second Russell's in Linden and if you can work with Erica she's AMAZING!  The BM dresses we chose are Bill Levkoff 380... the picture online is really ugly (thank God I didn't see it online first, because I never would have had anyone try it on), but it flatters three VERY different body types and looks AMAZING on them.

Like a wedding gown, don't just go by pictures online when trying to select your BM dresses.  Instead, go to any of the stores the girls here have recommended (Hollywood Bridal, Russell's, Park Ave, etc.) to look at the dresses in person and have your bridesmaids try them on.  All of the stores mentioned in this thread have pretty good prices.

Bill Levkoff sounds like a popular choice! I have always been weary of ordering dresses online but it seems to be really popular.  I am debating floor length or knee length. It is a formal wedding so wouldnt floor length be more appropriate?

I ordered mine from LordandTaylor.com - they were $125 on sale for $100!!! Plus free shipping. They didn't have the largest selection of colors - I went with the dark chocolate brown.

My BMs are wearing a Mori Lee Bridesmaid dress, which is about $140.  It's long, strapless, aline with a sash that ties in the back.  Very simple.
