Shoes

What kind of shoes are you ladies wearing?   Im really short, so the shoes Ive been looking at have really high heels, but then Im worried I'll get uncomfortable with all the walking and dancing.

Also, my dress has no bling or beading or anything.  Its white taffeta, and thats it.  Super plain.   I have a rcrystal belt that I plan on putting on during the reception, but thats as flashy as I get.   Should I get a shoe with some crystals??   Will anyone even see them, other then the photographer?

I plan on wearing either ballet flats that my MOH will decorate or white sneakers that my MOH will decorate.  Not like cheese but cute with lace and rhinestones. I can not wear heels for too long at all. And I hate thinking about wasting money on shoes i will only wear for the ceremony.

I'm wearing kinda what you described.  They are silvery sandals with about a 2 1/2 inch heal.  They front strap is covered in crystals.  FI bought them for me for my 21st b-day (I was with him) and I saved them for our wedding!  Absolutely love them!

I actually wore white crocs the whole day!!  I love my crocs so it was kind of a joke with my family.  But because my dress was so full on the bottom nobody had a clue I was wearing them unless I showed them!    I went for comfort over style especially since they wouldn't be seen.

Laurie.....are those Loubs on your feet?  The shoes I picked are white peep-toe No Prive.  They have blue lining!!  Im confident I can wear them all night, but several people have been trying to talk me out of them, and now Im second guessing myself.

    They are!

I saw these shoes in multi color sparkle on Kelly Rippa in 2007 (before I even knew who/what CL was) and I was obsessed from that day on! I work in an industry where on occasion I get a tip/gratuity from a client (very rare) so I saved up a bunch of those and DH chipped in some as a gift and thats how I got them.

I wore them ALL night and yea It wasn't like wearing sneakers but I was fine! Plus I'm 5ft tall so I'm used to my heals!

BTW Don't scuff the bottoms till AFTER the photog takes pics!!! I didn't but everyone kept saying...don't forget to scuff the shoes....haha NO!

I can't wait to wear them again!

I wore green kitten heels with a little sparkle on them, from Kenneth Cole. PIB.

The photographer got a few shots of just the shoes, and in a couple shots where i'm holding up my skirt to walk you can see them, but nobody really commented on them other than the people who asked to see them (because my mom had told her friends beforehand that I would wear green shoes ... not sure whether to brag or to say, "ew, I can't believe my daughter chose green shoes" lol).

Get what you like and what's comfy. Nobody will really notice but you. It's not worth unhappiness or discomfort just on the offchance that someone might comment on them.

I am currently on the hunt for purple heels. Minimum 2.5 inches... but FI is a foot taller than me, so, like Laurie, I wear heels a LOT.

Laurie- I LOVE those shoes!  I've tried on Louboutains and they just are not comfortable on my feet.  I'm a Manolo Bride :)

Thanks! I have really tiny feet so I'm sure that helps. Most girls have a dream dress. I had dream shoes! Which Manolos did you pick?

I'm contemplating figuring out a way for DH to give birth so I don't loose my shoes ;)

I need to take a pic of them... Like I said, i bought them about 3 years ago.  The style name I think is Argentina (I might be making that up, but that's what I remember).  They are silver leather that tie up the ankle with crystals on the foot strap.  I love them so much!

I am wearing fuchsia shoes from Nina. I knew I wanted fuchsia shoes and randomly found a pair at DSW. There is a picture of them in my BIO. I love them!

I'm the same height as my FH so this is posing a problem for me. I know we have to be the same height in the photos so I might just wear flats for those & a little kitten heel for the reception - I just don't know. I also want them in eggplant, lol.
