I have been seriously stressing over what to do for the FG's trying to find something inexpensive that doesn't involve petal throwing. I was venting to my mom on the phone and being very sarcastic when the idea hit me: Have them walk with giant lollipops (you know the old fashioned kind). Genius, it will go with my dessert reception, and will fit the whimsical nature of the beloved FG's. All of your ideas were so helpful and wonderful, I just wanted to let you know what the final verdict was and to say thanks!

A girl on my local had her flower girl carry a wand with a few flowers at the end. I would worry about a little girl holding a big piece of candy and not eating it or dropping it and it breaking.

Interesting idea. If you're marrying in a house of worship, I would just double-check with them to see if this is O.K. Also, if your screen name is your full name, you might want to consider deleting this account and creating a new, more anonymous one. A lot of people here have had crazies find them in real life (MySpace, Facebook, their jobs, etc.) and do mean things. Just a friendly tip.
