2 questions about the wedding album

So with our photo package we get 1 album. My 2 questions are:

1. Did you get a wedding alubm for yourselves to keep, or just for your parents?
2. What pictures did you put in the album? just of yourselves, or yourselves, family, friends, etc?

Thanks!

We get one album as well and it will be our wedding album. I plan on making my own parent albums using an online website since it is SO much cheaper. I will put a mix of all different types of pictures from our wedding day in our album, basically to summarize everything we did/what happened throughout the day and show who was there. In the parent albums I will put a mix as well, but for my parents' album I will put the majority of pictures of my family/parents' friends, and for FI's parents' album put the majority of pictures of his family/parents' friends.

I actually get 2 albums with my photographer. Both of them my FI and I are going to keep for ourselves. One album is going to be the ceremony and park pictures. The other one is going to be the reception and after party. We are definitely going to be doing a mix of pics that capture the entire day.

We felt that we shouldn't give one to either of our parents. It just wouldn't have been fair. We are going to make parents albums using an online website. Like PP stated it is really a lot cheaper than going through our photographer.

We should have our album in a few weeks! We are keeping the album. We customized our package and cut the parent albums out. We decided we would print pictures on our own and make an album for our parents. We the have the rights to all of our photos. We included pictures of us and our family. If you want to see the proof of my album to get an idea just send me an email. demarcosjd@yahoo.com

We're getting (yes, still getting -- we've procrastinated a ton on this) an album just for ourselves.  Our parents were not really interested in albums, so we figured they weren't worth the (at our photographer's studio, MASSIVE) expense.  They have CDs with all of the photos and plenty of prints of the photos they really liked.

Our album will have a little bit of everything -- all parts of the day, lots of pictures of guests, all of the details.  It will tell the story of the day rather than just being pictures of people.  We aren't going heavy on portraits in the album, as we've printed our favorite portraits to display in our home anyway.
