Help!

I am having a hard time finding a reception venue for my wedding in Asheville , NC..my first pick (the Crest Center Pavillion) is booked solid. My second pick, the Claxton Farm, had a beautiful old barn with a very rustic feel that I LOVED. Unfortunately it burned down and the new barn is too new for the style i want. Any suggestions? I am fairly new to this area and don't know a lot about surrounding locations or local spots. I would really like to find and old rustic barn, if anyone knows of any or even anyone with a private barn, (id be willing to pay extra), please let me know! I'd be extremely grateful! Thanks guys:)

Sounds like you want the same thing I did I looked everywhere. I was a bit disapointed by Claxton as well...

It was a little on the pricey side for us (you have to pay for everything a la carte) but the people that own it were amazing and it would really be a great place to hold a wedding.

Also, I haven't visited here, but I found it looking for rehearsal dinner places. It has a rustic vibe in a more downtown loft sort of way: http://packstavern.com/

There are some camps that rent space out as well. I don't have any specific ones but if you get creative in your google searches something might come up. Good luck!!!!
