Places to take E-pics in North Jersey?

My FI and I are looking for some place to take our E-Pics with our photographer. Our first thought was the beach, but he charges $200 to travel there, I was wondering if anyone could recommend any good place that are more local where we could take some outdoor E-Pics, I really don't want them to be in a studio. Thanks in advance!!

Nope, Atrium in West Orange.  We did pics before the ceremony, which was in Clifton.

We're doing ours on Blvd. East in Weehawken.  It's where my parents took their wedding pics and the skyine is such a beautiful backdrop.  Not sure if your photographer charges you to go there, though.

I am planning on pictures in Mindowaskin Park - be aware you need a permit!! Yup $25 per hour from the town of Westfield. (I also heard this might be true for Verona)

We took our e-pics at Verona Park and you don't need a permit.

I did mine at that park in Westfield, which is right next to police station and no one said a word! My photog would have said that we needed a permit, so I dont know if that is true.

It would help if you could maybe narrow it down by county; Northern NJ is a might big place.  We're going to the campus of my alma mater, FDU, Madison.

I took my wedding pictures in Westfield at the park, and it was a joke having the permit. There was no one there to enforce it, and there were like 5 other wedding parties there joustling for space.

In my view, this is why you would want to have a permit; so that your not pushed aside by others who arguably have more right to be there.
