Photo site in Spring Lake

Quick question-

I'm getting married outside at the Mill in Spring Lake in July, and assumed we'd just do photos there.  Someone mentioned to me to look into nearby parks and beaches as well.  I'm kind of thinking that would just be an extra trip, especially since I think it's really pretty outside the Mill,  but I guess if there is a really scenic spot nearby maybe we could take some pictures there...

Any opinions/recommendations?

There's a really pretty park with a gazebo in Spring Lake. Not sure what it's called, but there's a gazebo and a lake. And of course the beach is a beautiful setting as is- but if you don't feel a need, don't let others pressure you!

I'm getting married at the Mill and the one thing you may have to deal with (if you're getting married there too) is that they start setting up the chairs around 4. I'm taking pictures on the beach since we're renting a house right off the beach.  There are a number of lakes around that are very scenic and there is one park with a very pretty wooden bridge.

I got married at the Mill also and took pictures at the hotel Chateau Inn and Suites and at the fire house that is right next door.  We did not go to the park that is right across the street because I saw MH before the ceremony and all those pictures including family were taken at the Mill.  The grounds there are beautiful even in March when I got married.  If I had the time to go to the beach I would have done that also.
