    Honestly, I'd try googling around or if you have a few vendors already, see if they'd recommend one.

    Really though, if you're on a tight budget, a wedding planner isn't really a 'must have'. Most of the things they'll do, are things you could do yourself with a little footwork and elbow grease.

    I just got married in December and used Tia at the Perfect Plan. in one word...AMAZING! I'm a full time grad student but still wanted to plan most of our wedding. Tia was incredible and helped us throughout the whole process. She does not suggest vendors that she uses regularly (i've never even heard of this) so trust me, your wedding will be your own :) Give her a call!! it's well worth it...not to mention she's super cheap compared to other planners I looked in to. By far the best money we spent on the wedding!! PM me for more info if you want :)
