engagement announcement?

hi ladies! ok so my parents decided to wait until the 2-3 month before mark for the e-announcement in the paper. quick question on wording:

FI will recieve his Masters degree in May...do I say master of science in civil engineering or master's of science etc. or masters of science? I saw it a couple of different ways...I think the right one is master of science, but wanted to see if anyone else went through this!

I just got my Master of Science - it's in civil engineering too but that's not the actual degree, it's just the department it's from.  Hope this helps!

ETA: Congrats to him!  I bet he can't wait to be done
