    Those are GORGEOUS.

Did you use a kit or did you do it from scratch?

    Thank you for the comments!

all from scratch.. (except the magnets)...

-Half Moon enclosures (large) - picked up at the Paper Souce (they discontinued stardream silver - so I got them on sale, unfortunately they only had 8 pks of 10  and none online- so I had to buy some additional pks in Lake blue (side note: I called all the Paper-Source stores from here down to Atlanta and no one had any left in stock-bummer).
     http://www.paper-source.com/cgi-bin/paper/color/half-moon-enclosure/2505.040/803.html

-Mini Half moon enclosure - these were mini envelopes from the Paper Source (another clearance deal)  I cut off the flap and used a round punch to make the semi circle and turn them into halfmoon enclosures.  http://www.paper-source.com/cgi-bin/paper/color/baby-envelopes/2506.001/101.html

-ribbon from Michaels and A.C Moore

-white card stock for the information card (purchase in bulk when on sale) - I get 2 information cards per 8.5 x12 sheet - I slice them up with my fiskars rotary paper cutter.

-information card is mounted on blue vista cardstock  from
    http://paperandmore.com/metallic_cardstock_blue_vista_105.html

-Save the Date rubber stamp is a custom stamp I ordered from www.rubberstamps.net

-embossing of the Save the date was done tonight (ink, embossing powder and embossing gun purchase a while back at Michaels)

    -magnets design uploaded to Vistaprint.

-the snowflake-like graphic was created for me by an ETSY seller (dgehman) - I wanted a one-of-a-kind graphic (and NOT a snowflake) for my invitation suite. it will be used elsewhere.. stay tuned ;)  (I also had a stamp made out of it too!)

For my STDs I knew I wanted a magnet, information card, ribbon. embossing somewhere and some kind of enclosure (maybe a pocket?)... so then I just started picking up materials- and decided to save the "pocket" concept for my wedding invitations (i'm gonna DIY the pockets since I cannot find pockets in the exact color/type of paper I love).
A couple of clearance sales here and there.. and then voila the idea hit me!
BUT I must admit I REALLLY wanted to stick a magnet on the inside of the enclosure and have the STD-magnet be stuck on the outside via the magnet on the inside, but the STD magnets were wayyy to flimsy!  I tried this MULTIPLE ways - I basically spent all last week fiddling around with magnets! I had to nix the idea because it was never going to work and I was NOT crazy enough to add additional magnet backing to all the STD-magnets.

oopsss white card stock is 8.5 x 11 .. I use 12 x 12 for other stuff.. I sorta combined the two in the above post ;)

These are the most intense Save-The-Dates I have ever seen (I mean that in a good way)  They are beautiful!!!!!  I am wondering if you are a ETSY seller yourself, because if not you should be!

They do make magnetic tape that is really good. Few companies that I know of make it including Hygloss products which is a New Jersey based company and Dowling Magnets company. They are pretty good all you do is cut the pieces and stick it on the back of things. I work at a teacher supply store and we use it all the time its fantastic!

@ lynzandgreg - where were you 4 days ago? ;)

    Shand18 - lets have a crafting party

felicia220 - no etsy selling for me.. I couldn't deal with other people's BS. Plus I travel a lot for work- so I would probably have some angry brides... I must say guy who bid on my Alchemy post is the sweetest old man ever.  It's strange when you think you know what someone looks like based on email communication and then when you see their blog and a pic of them, you giggle because you were wayyyy off.

@everyone else - thanks for the comments.. you are all keeping me motivated..
