Congrats MG and welcome back from your honeymoon! I had a quick question. I believe you had mentioned a while back that The Manor gave you guys a gold coin to use at the restuarant? When did you get that? I was just there yesterday dropping off the second payment, but I don't think we'll be going back until our final meeting which is a month before. I was just curious. Thanks!

Just ask them for it. We went for dinner for our "one year to go mark" and we went over the banquet office and they gave it to us then. No one had even mentioned it to me until I had made the dinner reservations. I don't see any reason why you have to wait for them to offer it to you. Just call and ask them about it. We picked it up the night we had our dinner reservations. 

Enjoy - it is absolutely delicious!!!

I asked Preston about these coins last month and he told me that they will give them to you when you go for dinner.  Just make reservations and stop by the banquet office before dinner and they will give them to you.

I think they changed the policy then cause when my dad made the 1st payment, they gave him the coin.  I just got a letter from them saying that I could use the letter for my anniversary dinner next year and I think they used to do the coin for that too--- IDK why that changed.
