Bridesmaid Gifts (desperately in need of some help)...

Sorry to be a bit of a post-whore today, but I want to get as much planning and budgeting done over the summer as I can.

I know there are always threads about what gifts to get BMs and I tend to agree that the gifts should reflect the individual tastes of each BM.  I also agree (to some extent) that when thinking of gifts, the bride should consider what each BM would want for her birthday. 

Unfortunately, my BMs are close family members and what I usually get them for birthdays and Christmas are clothes, gift cards to their favorite stores, or money.  It's hard to explain, but those gifts are TOO much like birthday gifts to me and I think it'd be weird giving them those gifts as a thanks for being in my wedding.

I've thought about jewelry and Coach items, but all three BMs have those things and would just go out and buy them themselves if they wanted as they all have very particular tastes.

Can anyone think of ANY other ideas under $100 to get some very picky girls?

One of my most favorite items is a vera bradley traveling jewelery case. I have one myself and got each of my bridesmaids one.  The style I have is no longer being sold, but they have a new version of sorts.  The newer version is more structured than the soft one I have, but I think they're still fantastic for traveling, etc.

I did the jewlery rolls in their favorite colors which I got hand made off of Etsy, and then just yesterday I decided to get them handmade black clutches from Etsy. I think the gifts came to about $60 I am also going to get them a gift card to a place I know they shop so it will each be different.  If you are interested I can share the links with you for both the etsy items

i got the girls each a handbag for the wedding, i feel like its the obvious typical gift but you need that and then im gonna get gift cards, jewerly, maybe lipgloss or eyeshadows and stuff to fill it.

these are the handbags i got they look so pretty in person online they look a little cheap definitely go check them out in the store.. but they hold alot of stuff which most clutches dont

I am having the same problem.  I am trying to find something a little more extravagant than their bday present and I keep finding small things i like for each of them.  I wanted to get something a little more classic that they can cherish for a while.  With 6 weeks left I am abandoning that idea.  So so far I have
BM1 - a coach purse.  She is 13 and I figured she would like this.  It has the c's on it.  I got it at the outlet $80
BM2 - got a cricut because she is obsessed with the infomercial and a cartridge.  Probably not great for your bridesmaids unless they craft

BM4 - MOH, nothing.  This is the gift that is torturing me.  I cant figure out what to get her that screams i love you.  Thanks you for listening to every small detail of my wedding planning.

The gifts cost me maybe $50 per girl since I shopped in discount stores, and then a $50 Visa gift card each. I only had the two girls.

I also got the clutch purses (Burlington Coat Factory) and pashminas (Le Chateau), but I don't consider those to be real "gifts" since they were for the wedding, more like a favor so they didn't have to worry about getting them on their own. They wore their own jewelry.

they have a lot of necklaces that are similar to eachother....but have different charms that you can pick for each girl so its somewhat personalized.

thats all i have so far.  i dont think you need to do "birthday gifts" for them....its noth their birthday.  its more of a thank you.

i was thinking tiffanys necklaces, but then i thought they all have favorite necklaces that they wear all the time... but I LOVE the vera bradley travel bag ideas. they have really great colors that suit all of my bridesmaids different tastes. I even looked at a store locator and there is a store in the mall by me. so i am definitley taking a trip tomorrow during my lunch break at work!! thanks for the idea

i already order each of my 8 bridesmaids silk robes and am having their initials monogrammed. then i am adding a few travel pieces.. maybe some girls will get a small makeup case and jewelry case and others will get the curling iron covers and large makeup bags.. i will also prob throw in their fav bottle of wine/liquor and maybe a gift certifcate ($25?) to sephora/ulta/ or their fav dept store.. i want to spend around $100-125 each total
