Did anyone hand cancel their invitations, if so what post office did you go to? and did they let you hand cancel it yourself?

    I did mine in Paramus NJ at the post office just off rt17. It was very easy. Fair Lawn also said that I could hand cancel there too.

    No, I mailed one to see what they would look like naturally and there were no marks on them whatsoever, so I just dropped them all in the mail.  They didnt even go over the stamps! Weird!

    We hand cancelled ours.  My Mom took 1/2 the invites and mailed them from the Woodcliff Lake, NJ post office.  I took the other half and brought them to the post office in Chappaqua, NY (I work in that town).  Although we hand canceled them, my one friend told me that her invitation arrived with large black bars on it....and that occured (according to the stamp) in White Plains.  I have no idea what happened, but I was disappointed since the PO told us that wouldn't happen.

    I hand cancelled ours, it took a couple of minutes and not sure if it made any difference no-one commented on it lol I went to the post office in Wayne on Valley

    Yes, I did we went to the Stanton post office in Hunterdon County. The lady did them for us at the post office.

    I did it at the post office in Chatham. They told me that I would have to do it myself so as not to hold up the line, but it only took a few minutes.

    i brought mine to the Lincroft and Middletown post offices and they hand canceled them for me- no problem
