Date Night

FI and I try to do date night once a week or so, but dinner and drinks is getting old.  I'd love to find a not loud/crazy place to play pool around us (Hoboken-ish). We've done the driving range and movies in the park already. Anyone have any suggestions for a fun date night?

It might sound cheesy, but what about a one-time lesson or class together of some sort?  Cooking, dancing, etc?

One of those dinner cruises? (I'm kind of "whatever" about them just because we used to do those for school all the time when I was younger, but it's another option).

Rock climbing at one of those big rock wall facilities?

    A local winery?

Dinner theatre where you go see a live show with actors (not the movie ones they have now) and you're served dinner?

    Comedy club?

    Monster Golf?

    That's all I've got, haha.

There is a pool place in Weehawken (I think it is still there) next to Houlihans which might be nice.

I hear good things about "barcade" in Jersey City which combines bar/comfort food with old school arcade games for a quarter.

Since the weather is nice you could always do a food walking tour along the river. Maybe start at the Japanese Market in Edgewater and buy something you have never had before and end up in West New York by Son Cubano.

They have live music/dancing in the park in Weehawken one day a week in the summer which might be something fun to do before/after dinner.

I LOVE it, but FI hates going with me (he actually hates going anywhere that I can potentially keep score) because I get super competitive, haha.

It can be a bit annoying going when tons of kids are there, but when it's fairly empty it's a lot of fun and just something different to do.
