The Nest?

How many of you that post or posted in The Knot also post at The Nest? What do you think about The Nest?

It's been pretty dead recently, because the Nest switched formats a few weeks ago and not everyone was happy with the changes (problems logging in, viewing on mobile, Facebook buttons that could make things even more public, etc.).

The New Jersey board went to a separate board quite a while ago ... you might be able to find the link if you go through the NJ Nest board a bit. The national boards did the same thing within the past month or two (the changes were first rolled over to the local boards and then went to the national, "topical" boards). I moved over to the national sub-boards but I never joined up with the New Jersey-specific folks (which is probably just as well, since the NJ Nest board seemed very focused on being a mother, and I don't have children).

I liked the Nest. Like any message board, different boards have different personalities. Some boards will always agree with you, are always positive, will always tell you what you want to hear ... other boards will give you their truthful opinion even if it's not positive. Once I found a few boards whose personalities I liked, it was a fun way to pass the time.

I applied for a log in to the NJ Nest off board, and never heard anything further. I lurked but didn't post when they were on TN, so I guess I didn't rate inclusion on the new board. Oh well.
