PSA: Dain Shoppe

I am, let's say, big chested  lol. I always had problems finding bras and it was very frustrating. And after I bought my dress, one of my biggest anxieties was getting something to go under it that was supportive (strapless bras and I don't get along). But I went last night to the Dain Shoppe in Morristown and literaly only had to try on 2 things to find what i needed. I've shopped there before for regular bras and bathing suits and I recommend this place to EVERYONE! The saleswomen are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They will tell what works and doesn't work on you and they will never pressure to buy something you don't want. I'm in Union County, about half an hour from Morristown, but its totally worth the trip there.

mod-i'm not a vendor, promise. just tryin to help NJ brides keep their girls in place! =)

I've been there several times and I have to agree with you.  The girls on this board directed me there when I was looking for underthings for under my dress (and other dresses).

They are a little pricey...but then someone who is very well "blessed" in the boobage area is more then willing to pay for supportive bras.  At least I am..and I am a DDD.

Another yea - I am in Bloomfield, my bridal shop is in Bloomfield, and they STILL sent me to Morristown to the Dain shop.

They sent me away with two bustiers, no charge. (Took my cc number.) I was to take both to my fitting to see what worked best, then bring the "loser" back. Lovely. Fabulous service.

Wish the negligee I fell in love with there wasn't $300, but oh well.

They also carry boutique clothing in the front, and, er, a few other items of interest in the back .Embarassed

Their prices range depending on what you get and what brand. Personally, the bras I got there were about $60-$70 a piece, but it was totally worth it IMO. I've had them 2 years already and they are still in very good condition. I'm an F so you can imagine I have limited options (i was ready to have to wear grandma bras), but I got amazingly cute stuff from them.

I'm doing the same thing for my fitting as NJ Jen. I was ready to buy the one I had on right there but the sales woman told me about the special and advised me to wait until about a week before the fitting, instead of pushing me to buy.

I'm telling you give them a shot. The girls there are awesome and know their stuff. I even got my mom to go. She was intending to buy a new regular bra and one for under her dress and came away with 6! She couldnt go back to her old stuff after she tried on the new ones. Plus they love brides! And like NJ Jen said there are some *special* things in the back they can find you for an unforgettable wedding night!

i love love love the Daine shoppe... have been going there for a very long time and I am def going there to get fitted for a bra for our wedding!!! Do you have to bring your wedding dress along with you for the bra? I think I am pretty good with any reg strapless bra.... The girls there are awesome and make you feel so comftable cconsidering I am a 42 DDD and always feels uncomftable trying on bras!!!
