Charlotte ceremony and reception venue

I am recently engaged and planning for a wedding in the fall of this year.  I live in Virginia but my FI and I are considering getting married in NC where we met and where he proposed.  Does anyone have any input on the Westin, Omni, or African American culture museum?  I am also looking at Grace on Brevard.  I am planning on taking a trip to the area soon so any information will be helpful.

    I live in charlotte and have exhausted every option towards downton i would def not go for a hotel they seem to be the most expensive unless u have a high budget but i dont. i looked at grace on brevard but i wasnt a fan of it. I think i pretty much looked at every place in charlotte. My FI and I are getting married at the quarry at carrigan farms its a beautiful outdoor place and its very all inclusive and reasonable!

    ditto on pricing- but depending on your budget, the omni is beautiful! i have a close friend who does the room blocking for weddings/special events- keep us posted on what you chooose! her name is leigh :)
