Response Card Size

Hi Ladies:
I just got my invitation proof last night and in short it didnt go very well.  Anyway, my Graphic Designer is saying that I need to keep my response card standard postcard size so that they dont get lost in the mail (6 Inches long 4 inches high). Can you tell me what size yours were and if they were smaller (MG's) did you get them all back?  Its ruining the inside look of my invitation. TIA

Mine were the "normal" size.  So probably the same as PPs.

Oh that's annoying- ours was ... hold on let me grab one a measure it for you... 5 x 3 1/2. Looking at it- to me- it looks small. You should be able to go a little smaller. How small do you want it?

None of ours got lost in the mail- we had to force a few ppl to actually mail them back though, which considering it's a pre stamped envelope seemed pretty ridiculous.

Ours were also 3 5/8" x 5 1/8" and we received every one of them, none of them got lost in the mail.  I believe that is standard size for a response card and should not be a problem.

This is what I thought. I knew it could be smaller.  Anyone want to show me theirs? Since I need to start all over again bc the design is just terrible.

    Here's mine:

I looked on Wedding Paper Divas for a design I like and then adapted it to our look/feel of the invites.

Here's some pics of the RSVP card and my invitation. My RSVP design was really simple though.  And excuse the formatting...I just tried creating a picture out of word and it screwed it up a little. haha

I wish I still had mine to show, because I really loved it, but a couple days after I printed them, my computer crashed.  Thank God I had them printed otherwise that would have sucked.  But I am sure there are plenty of others who have ones to show.

Were all of these this small without envelopes? Mine will just be a postcard.

Mine had an envelope. Maybe because it's without an envelope it has to be larger? Do you have any pics to post? Maybe it's not as bad as you think... just different.

    11-1/2 inch max.
    3-1/2 inch min.

This is what I am doing - a postcard.  If you are having a post card w/o an envelope (saves on postage!!) then you will have to follow USPS standard postcard sizes.
