Sorry to read about your mom. 

Are you in the Raleigh area?  I'm planning to volunteer at the Brides Against Breast Cancer sale here in August.  I got my dress there last year, and wanted to volunteer this year because I think it's a really cool event.

    Thanks so much for sending that! I'm in Durham so that would be easy to volunteer for. Volunteering for stuff related to Breast Cancer is a great way to feel like I'm taking some kind of control of what my mom is going through.

    She is recoving from a bilateral mastecomy but all things considering she is doing well. Thanks! I hope to volunteer at the Brides against Breast Cancer.
