Got so slow I've had to lurk/participate in other boards And I made a planning bio last night because there was nothing to read here... oh yeah... and when I finished it and came back to add to my sig, TK was down for maitenence...sweet.

As of right now I have no thread topics... Slowly jumping back on the planning train as I was busy for the past two months or so, and with my holiday work schedule, looks like I'll be a very busy chick until New Year's Observed.

I'm sure once it's actually 2012... I'll start to freak and need opinions on things...

But I do start to wonder where the LV brides went?!

Yes, I noticed the same thing. Maybe everyone is out shopping and getting ready for the holidays.

Amber~ Thank you! It was quite an adventure finding it! (always wanted something with a little different... high-low hemline, slit...fell in LOVE with the tear-away skirt!) and of course no shops had what I was looking for, you'd think in Seattle, it would be easy to not be cookie cutter.... haha

Anyway, it's a Dere Kiang #11065, I had to find a shop that carried the maker and then have a sample shipped to the store...

At another shop a lady refused to order it for me because she didn't like the brand/quality even though her website listed her a carrier of it. While I appreciated her opinion, I can be my own judge... and for what I need the dress for it is perfect... and way below price point yay!

FI knows it rips off... not much more than that, but we will def be incorporating a "tear away/rip off" in our first dance... CANT WAIT!

Whew, I'm glad to see everything is ok with this board.  I saw posts on other boards but I thought maybe there had been a glitch on the Vegas board.  Glad to see everyone is just busy with wedding planning and the holidays

Most of my boards are slow right now.  A few girls (myself included) are taking time off of posting because TK is being so wonky.  On my one board we do "This or That" when it gets slow, it's fun and gets conversations flowing again.  Glad to see everyone is doing great and getting ready for the holidays!

Pretty sure it was TK glitches keeping most away. I just finished finals yesterday, so end of the semester might have stopped others too. Andplusalso, getting ready for the holidays.I know I'm trying to get my house in order now that school is done. Hoping I can finally unpack wedding gifts and use my new pots/pans/etc for Christmas dinner. I'm sure it'll pick up again soon.
Stinkbell used to make polls of Fridays. If someone wants to revive doing that, it might get the convos flowing again.

ETA: and the damn knot is still glitchy. It says I posted at 3p EST nope it's 3 PST. so I'm in the middle of the damn post.

Yeah, I think the holidays might have something to do with it.  I'm sure after Christmas & New Year's hit, we'll have a lot more activity - especially with all of the new engagements that happen over the holidays.

I tried to find some statistics on the Clark County website for marriage licenses issued by the month but couldn't.  It would be interesting to see when most marriages occur, since we can probably guess how far before that wedding planning started.

My wedding consultant said that September and October are the most popular wedding months in Vegas..not sure if its true or not
