So any knotties heading to Vegas December 4th for the RnR 1/2 Marathon?

I wish!  Maybe next year.  I'm not quite in 1/2 shape yet; my Disney World Half back in January killed me and put me off running until very recently.  I bet that would be amazing to run Vegas, though!

I wish, not quite up to 1/2 running yet.  Plus a recent shin splint has me sidelined indefinitely from running. UGH!!!

GULP! I am doing Tinkerbell in Jan! and this RnR will be my first 1/2! eek

<div>You'll have so much fun!  My Disney run was honestly amaaaazing, I think a big problem was that I walked all over the parks for the 2 days before and then tried to do the half on the third day-- I was in amazing amounts of pain (my feet and legs).  So take it easy the day before and do your fun stuff after the race.  You're going to have so much fun, I'm jealous!</div>

Oh that makes sense! We are not heading down until late the day before and going to go to the park after, if I can make it ;-)

Stinker, Boo! I posted about this months ago. I'm running with one of the p&e knotties. We get in on Saturday and will stay until Monday. Are we friends on FB? If not, friend me and we can try to hook up before or after the race. Yes? Good times fo shizzle!

I run the FB group so I will find ya! I am getting there on Sunday and got the late pick up so  we can find each other before or after.  I am super nervous...First 1/2. eek.

My friend from E, Wading Moose, is running her first as well.

Ping me on FB so I can give you my cell number.  We are doing a TTD the morning of the race but then we are just maxin' and relaxin' after that.

Race weekend supposed to double as my 40th Birthday celebration, but once we announced our engagement and Vegas wedding (Feb 2012), everyone that was coming to cheer me on for the race and party for my Birthday opted for the wedding instead. OK by me, we'll be using this trip for wedding planning, getting the license, making final reception/dinner plans etc.
