Your most awesome, kick-a$$ DJ recommendations, prz!

Now having ceremony, photographer and hair/makeup booked, I turn my sights on a DJ.  This bride wants to know: did you LOVE LOVE LOVE your DJ?  What did he/she do that was so awesome?  I'm open to spending a bit more on this line item (if necessary) since music is my thing and my family is huge into dancing at weddings, so let's hear your awesome DJ recs!

If you need context-- we'll be in a ballroom at Mandalay Bay, so we'll have a big ol' dance floor that will sorely be in need of disco lights and other forms of crazy DJ panache.

After reading a large number of very good reviews, we hired All Night Long Entertainment http://www.goallnightlong.com/?page_id=4

Their price sheet includes options for a huge number of lighting configurations, etc.  We also opted for the "Jeff & Jeremy" package which is where you get the two owners of the company instead of their staff DJ's (we'd heard nothing but great things about all the staff they have sent to other people's weddings, just felt like what the hell, it's Vegas, go all out).  I'll be able to tell you how it all goes in two months lol.

We also used Allnightlong and we had Lance as our DJ. He was really nice and played all of the music we liked. Everyone was dancing the whole night so there were no problems!

Oh yeah, and we also got the cheapest lighting from Allnightlong, and it did not really seem worth it. Maybe if you got the lighting tree or whatever it is called it would be more noticeable, but with just one light, it did not do much.
