In-Suite Food Options???

OK....I really want to make sure that we have plenty of food and drink in the MB Suite, but....I am having a tough time deciding on how to do that!! I have already been in contact w/ Masterpiece Cuisne and Also have thought having using "On The Boarder" Mex Resturant. The problem I am having is if I do more "dinner" type food, do people just have to stand around and eat?? or do I do heavy app's and risk people feeling like I did not have enough food?? Any advise appreciated!! TIA:)

I was also concerned about people not having a place to put their food down, which is why we went with a cocktail-style menu.I don't think people will feel like there's not enough food if you have heavy apps.  The proposal Scott gave me has four different "entrees," plus fruit and antipasto.  Once we go to settle on the menu I'll work out how many pieces per person, but with things like crab-stuffed mushrooms and sliders, I'm sure people will be pretty full.
This is a neglected planning bio.
This is a belated married bio, with no reviews yet because I'm lazy.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

I'm considering a suite for an after party.  I'm worried about not having enough or having too much booze.

We did Jason's Deli and had sandwiches, wraps, party pinwheels and chips so I guess more finger food. We had lots of food left.  Luckily we had a boat cooler which belonged to a friend of mine in Las Vegas for the beer and stuff and we had gotten large ziplock bags for leftovers and we had sandwiches for 2 days after the wedding.  With the sandwiches people didn't really need to sit down they could kind of mingle and stand or sit.

What time is your reception?  We are having our reception at 7:30pm so we are only doing heavy apps.  Scott from Masterpiece tells me there will be lots of food and no one will go hungry.  I think if you are having your reception at dinner time it maybe a different story.  Good luck I will post reviews in a few days hope they help.

After our engagement party, I am worried about having TOO MUCH food and liquor. I think we are going to scale our initial idea down a little bit. Since we will be in Vegas, I won't be able to divy up my leftovers among guests to take home.

easton23: I am thinking a 6:30 ceremony and having everyone go to the suite by 7:30, like you! and when I talked to Scott he told me the same thing, would you mind telling me what you ordered? and CONGRATS! can't wait to see your reviews!!  moloeks: I am also worried about the flip side of having TOO much food and no place to put it!! Also....My FI had the idea of putting with the invite a min version of the menu so that the guest can have an idea of what will be served....I thought this was neat! any opinion on that??? Thanks again gals!! :)

We are using Masterpiece Cuisine aswell and going for a menu of appetisers with bread rolls etc. I keep worrying that it's not going to be enough too!We are still fiddling with the timeline at the moment so I'll make a final decision whether anything needs to be added when we get it completely straightAll of their food looks absolutely fantastic though, I'm so excited!

We are going with Teriyaki chicken kabobs, crab stuffed mushrooms, filet of beef, anti-pasta kabobs and fruit platter.  All Scotts picks.  I really trusted him.  He has been such a joy to work with.  We are also bring freezer bags and a few coolers in case there is to much food.  Plus the Vista Suite has a mini fridge.
