Falling

So I like to wear heals, however Im clumsy and dont wear them often since I have a greater chance of falling. I want to wear heals on my wedding day since im 5'5 and Fi is 6'4! Anyone scared about falling down walking down the isle?

LOL yes...I already told my dad we're taking our time walking down the isle. And I love the shoes I bought too! They're adorable...I'm going to stay in them for as long as humanly possible.

lol! I'm scared of the heel getting caught up in my dress and tripping myself, but not fallng because of the heel itself. Maybe practice around  your house...

Not wearing heels wearing ballet shoes but still nervous about falling down the stairs into the garden or up the stairs when I go into the gazebo! I am a natural born clutz!!

Yes, I am terrified of this!! I've never worn a floor length dress before and I rarely wear heels either! I'm sure I will have nightmares about this nearer the time!! Eeek!!

I need to wear heels as well because of the height differntial.  I have tried and tried, but can't do it.I have bought some nice comfy sandals with 3 1/4 in padded wedge.  Very comfy and I can walk in them, so I will use those instead of my pretty shoes. Will I still fall- heck I can trip over air half the time, so I probably will.  I just need to have a good attitude about it if I do.

I can't do spike heels or stilettos, I wobble badly and am likely to stumble, plus they're not comfortable.  I'm on the hunt for some shoes with a wide, sturdy heel so I don't have to hem my dress, but don't kill myself.  Look into ballroom or dance shoes, especially if you're not planning on spending too much time outside.

Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284
