Save the Date Poker Chip Magnets

We are ordering poker chip magnets for our save the dates.  I researched online and would like to get them from Vogrins Palace.  My FI is concerned that they may look cheap/cheesy.  If there is anyone that has ordered from them that could give me some feedback it would be appreciated.  His main concern is that they wont have the poker chip feel/weight and the quality of the writing on the chips.  TIA.

I got custom poker chips from Vogrin's as part of our favors and they were awesome!  Very nice weight to them, and we also got them less than a week after we ordered them.  There are pics in my planning bio.

I've just ordered some - FI is a bit of a nerd for always getting magnets when we go on holiday so he'll love them!

We ordered ours from there, and the weight is very nice. They have good communication as well, and I felt the price was pretty good. We got lots of positive comments on them.

These are a great idea! I'm thinking about adding them to our Save-the-Dates... even though they'll add to the postage cost.

Dont suppose any of you know the height/width of the chips? I want to order some favour bags for them :)

If you can imagine a real poker chip they are the same in height and probably close to the same in weight. I ordered from Vogrins also and I love them.

I know this post is old but I have been look at it as a wedding favor - not sure about the magnet or just the chip.

Was the magnet attached to the back of the chip, or was the magnet embedded into the chip itself, allowing either side to be displayed?

My magnets were glued to the chips and they are "real" poker chips in size and weight.  it was a thin donut shaped magnet that went around the outside so that you could see the picture/graphic.  I got mine at bestweddingfavors.com.

    Check the bio.

If you want realistic more than you care about magnet, I got poker chips from these guys:

    http://www.kardwell.com/chips.html#clay

I had them custom printed but not specific to the wedding; just for my own litle game room at home so me and the boys can have casino nights.  They feel identical to the chips you play with in a nice casino.

I liked what Vogrin's had to offer - anyone else have experience with them?

I got mine from there - they feel like real poker chips. I would definitely recommend them. The magnet is stuck to the back on it, and is still going strong 2 years after ordering them!

I don't have a picture, but like I said in my post above, there is a thin donut shaped magnet glued to the outer rim.

    Before magnet:

This is the best I could do here at work.  Imagine that the black donut with the white outline is the magnet.
