Luxor for Wedding

I was curious.... has anyone had a hotel room for several nights, then for the "honeymoon" evening, gone to a different room, but kept the original room?  I'm especially interested in this at the Luxor.If it makes any sense.... We are arriving on Thursday and not leaving until Tuesday.  Last night, I thought, wouldn't it be nice to have a special room just for Saturday night - like a spa suite room, and wondered if anyone had done something like this.  Aren't really looking to spend the extra $300 bucks for the spa suite for all 5 nights we're there, but  might be able to sweet talk FI into one night and two rooms.... Would the Luxor let us do this, I wonder?

I'm sure they would. (They're not going to turn down money haha)We're flying out on a Tuesday and staying in a standard hotel room and then switching over to our suite Friday-Monday.

We are getting married at Excalibur...and our package comes with 2 nights.So, we are using those nights and paying to keep the room at the Excalibur hotel on the nights that we are staying at Mandalay Bay.My daughter will stay in the room, probably with my best friend if she comes alone to the wedding, during the two nights we aren't in the room. That way the room is still used, but we can return to complete our stay.

Oh, we were originally going to give the room to my sister in exchange for helping with different wedding things...then we had a falling out and she won't be coming. That is why we made the arrangements as we did them because we had already paid for the extra nights, etc.
