Finally went and picked my dress up today! Still love it. Slight problem though... it's too small! It's fine on my waist but not on my boobs. I now have 2 1/2 months to squeeze my chest into the thing. My MOH was with me though and she reminded me of the night before her wedding- I went to put my bridesmaids dress on and it wouldn't do up because I was absolutely baking hot. The next morning it was loose! Hopefully it will fit when I'm a bit cooler (it's v hot and sticky here today). I'd better start running again!

OH to have that problem!! LOL Also try your dress on later in the day (after dinner etc). As I PT, women's bodies tend to retain more water as the day goes on. That way you'll know if you definately have to change your routine in the coming weeks. Congrats on finally getting your dress!!

omg! I know how you feel!!! My dress my granmother is tacing the hem, I've been on all these new medications and it fit  around the waist but the boobie were a no go!She called me chunky, I almost cried!!!!!She wasn;;t trying to be mean but it still sucked. Also, heat cold be a factor but also that time of the month!!! Just something to think about!Laura

My dress was delivered a month ago, and I was all excited.  Rushed to get it on.....and it didn't fit.  At all.  Couldn't button it in the back or lift my arms.  Talk about a let-down.  The same dress in the same size had fit fine in the store 2 weeks earlier.  At first I thought I would go on a serious diet, and if I could lose 20 lbs in the next few months, all would be good.  But the more I stressed about my dress possibly not fitting, the more I ate.  I finally went into the bridal shop and talked to them, and they are going to order a new one for me the next size up.  It will be pushing it a little bit since my wedding is 100 days from today and it will need some serious alterations, but what can you do?  Good luck.

I could understand it if I were built like Jordan, but I'm far from it! Plus, one of the bridesmaids dresses is supposed to be the same size and that's HUGE on me. (I'm talking 4 inches difference in the bust) just goes to show the difference between designers! My friend and I were in absolute hysterics in the shop!

PP- you probably tried on the store sample which had been stretched.  My dress would not fit when I went for fittings thanks to  15 winter pounds I put on.  I stressed for a minute and then told the woman to convert it to a corset back dress.  Problem solved since I didn't need the added stress of trying to lose weight just to fit into my dress.

Yeah, we said the same. I want to lose a bit anyway but I'm not gonna kill myself to do it. If all else fails, I'll get it taken in at the sides and a corset back added, which I think would look really nice!Good luck with your Jill

No, we were so busy laughing at the fact that it wouldn't do up that I forgot to get a photo! There are some pictures in my bio that I took when I got home- they show the detail of the bodice a bit better. I'll put it on tomorrow and get one with the camera timer
