Lazy/Burned out

I don't know if anyone is going or has gone through this, but it's getting harder for me to do what I have to do for the wedding. I'm about a month away and I see the list of to-do's and it seems like I have to force myself to do them. The big tasks like finding venue, the dress, invites, decor have been easy and for the most part pleasant. The tasks that I'm having a hard time with is putting together the music list, finding accessories, the favors, and don't get me started on what to pack or how I will get all this stuff to Vegas. I hope I snap out of it soon, I'm feeling overwhelmed!!/rant!

I'm right there with you. I'm running out of steam. Actually choosing a venue and all that stuff was the fun part. Now it's all the pesky, boring stuff that's left. I think I'm just going to take a mini wedding sabbatical and hopefully get a second wind.

Thanks, ladies!! I knew you'd totally get it. It's funny b/c I know that I'm out of it now, but I know I'll get the "after wedding blues" after the wedding.

Breathe & relax!  You saw my post below of checks? Well that is because  I was a few weeks ago where you are at now.I have been planning for over a year and a half.  At several points I got the planning blahs.  Now, with 15 days left (awck) I am hustling to make sure I get it done.    Right now I tackle all the little stuff and day by day it is getting done.  Up next, I need to work music and shipping.  After that, I tackle packing all the favors and stuff and then my clothes and what to wear. Step by step, and you will get it done.

Right there with you guys! I'm less than 2 months out and have 0 interest in doing anything right now. Planning the ceremony, music, timeline, etc is all so boring to me!

Step away for a few days; you'll work more effeciently when you get started again. Maybe decide to take Saturday to do someting totally non wedding related. Theme park or some shopping?

I love theme parks, and thought about going until I saw this story on the news about a group getting stuck on one of the roller coasters at Great America (I live in the South Bay Area). We're going to the City (San Fransisco) on Sat for the Tejani trunk show to pick out my jewelry, so we'll enjoy the city and take some stress off.

Whenever I get burned out with anything I make an appointment at the spa for a nice package....which always includes a deep facial. No matter what you're just "ugh" about....walking out after a nice day of pampering (and free champagne) will re-charge you! For the packing.....we're actually mailing some things to ourselves at the hotel. We're going to mail down our toasting flutes, suite decorations, wedding programs, etc...  I'm going to be using a Space Saver bag for my dress to better pack it in a carry-on. You're doing great! And your wedding will be amazing! :)

I'm getting lazy too.  I'm two months away.  I think my two big ones left is reserving Debi for steaming (which I can do today), and reserving limos (which I can't do until I know how many people are coming and where they'll be staying).  The rest are details and I feel like it's harder to work out the details compared to the big ones.  If only I had the money for a wedding planner :->
