Has anyone had their reception at the Capital City Club, or Cardinal Club in Raleigh, NC and what did you think of it?

    i have a membership.  i tink they are fairly equal in service and food.  the cardinal club has the smokin' hot staircase which makes that venue a little more unique.

    I have attended a monthly luncheon at the Cardinal Club for the last 2 years. The large ballroom is very nice, spacious with mirrors across one wall. And the views of the city really set it apart from other options in downtown Raleigh.

    We typically had a salad spread, chicken or beef and fish in a buffet style. Although the service is great, the food has been consistently average.
