Buying reproduction rights for wedding photos?

Hi ladies. I was just curious if anyone bought the rights to their wedding photos? Is it worth the money? Are they usually really expensive?I'm trying to figure out my budget and I'm having a hard time with a photo budget. I am getting married at Paris and they use LasVegasphoto.com. I'm not sure who my exact photographer will be.Any insight is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

From what I've read.....it seems like it can be expensive. I heard that Cashman photos are around $10/photo when paying for the rights. So it depends on how many they take. If you're on a budget....you may want to hire an outside photog. Bently Wilson have great packages and you get a cd of all your photo negatives. http://wilsonphoto.20m.com/prices.htmlFI and I are going to take the 12 or 24 photos we get with our wedding package....but then we hired an outside photog who includes the dvd of every photo she takes. She'll be around for the rest of the nite too.

I agree with Matilda about the outside photographer.  However, keep in mind that this photog will be limited in the pics they are allowed to take during the ceremony, if they are allowed to take them at all (every chapel has their own rules).  My photog was allowed to take pics from his seat as any other guest, and Cashman took the official ceremony and post ceremony pictures.  I did not buy the digital rights, but they would have amounted to roughly $10 per picture.
