My dress story: I thought all along that I wanted a vintage looking shorter dress. I was convinced I would not like anything in a bridal store. I didn't want a traditional dress as my ceremony was going to be VERY non-traditional. So absolutely no trains. The guys were not wearing tuxes and I had Marilyn Monroe bridesmaids. My mother and I went shopping a month ago and there was a total 4 dresses in the whole store that I could try on. She loved one very much and thought I should buy it on the spot. I liked it but I didn't love it. Tonight we visited a different store and I had 7 dresses I could try on. I had it narrowed down to 2 dresses I liked very much. However, I didn't want to insult her judgement so I tried it on. And I never took it off. I knew it was the one as soon as I saw it on me and the girl commented on how I was glowing in that dress. Then I started crying. I am NOT a crier. Anyway, I bought it then and there. My mom loved it too. Here is a pic. This is the back
