I hope everyone had a fun weekend! I'm never ready for it to be over, but this week is my last full week of work until 2011!!

FI and I made some great progress on reception venues and I think we've officially decided to hold it at The State Club. Highgrove was just too far of a drive between ceremony and reception and didn't have a good plan if it snowed besides for "postponing the wedding." I don't think so. Cardinal Club was beautiful, just not big enough for us.

The Norman Rockwell exhibit at NCMA was amazing! Everyone should definintely try to go!

Does anyone have any big plans this week!? Wedding related or not?

Good morning

We got our Christmas tree this weekend.  It's currently sitting in our garage.  We were letting the ice melt off and letting it warm up a little more slowly than just brining it right in the house.  Tonight we'll bring it inside and start decorating.  I think decorating is going to be a slow process because we've got a lot of other things going on this week too.  But it'll make the house smell great

Good morning!  I've been totally MIA the past couple of months because this weekend I finally GRADUATED!  My family, FI, and one of my BMs came to Austin to celebrate and it was just a wonderful weekend.  Now I'm finishing up a final paper, packing, and moving back to NC this week.

Also, congratulations and welcome Kelsey!  The girls on here are great!

sent off two deposits on satuday for cake baker and hair/make-up. :-)

addressed christmas cards and played donkey kong country returns on Wii with FI.  also saw HP7 part 1 and ate traditional greek food this weekend. 

sad that the weekend is over already.  so much to do before the end of the year.

Good morning. I'm at work until 3 then FI and I are going to see Harry Potter again. This is my last full week of work too and I'm only getting 10 hours next week which will make for a shitty check. I hope everyone has a good day!

Good afternoon!  Our weekend was pretty normal...we "completed" out BB&B registry last night, which was fun.  We got a pasta making machine, which was not actually on our registry, but after eating fresh pasta in Italy, we wanted to make some ourselves!  So we stayed up until 11 last night making fettucine for a meal we are going to make tonight.  Excited to see how it is after cooking it. 

As I reported before my wedding, I quit my job because my boss was an A&%H*(# right before the wedding.  He owes me some money and won't respone to my emails so that might get nasty, which I was trying to avoid since he already said he'd be a good reference even though I quit.  I just found out that another attorney quit on Friday for the same reasons as me, leaving jsut the boss and one other attorney who will be on maternity leave starting in January, so he is left pretty screwed!  His assistant also quit a few weeks ago and I hear the new one is about ready to walk also.  Maybe he will finally get it through his head that he can't treat people like crap...but I doubt it. 

I am turning in my application for subbing (teaching, TA, etc.) today and doing orinentation Wed.  I figure it is a good way to bring in some money without a long term commitment while I continue to explore what I want to do with my life...still not ready to go back to the legal field, but not sure what I want in the long run!

It was a long day at work with some hard patients...  Made for a long Monday.  I am ready for Friday (North Carolina-bound to spend a girls weekend with mom to house-hunt) already!!

So I know Monday is over...but hi girls! This weekend went by soo fast! I am looking forward to next weekend already..today has killed me! I finally put up our Christmas tree this weekend..yay...but I still haven't decorated it..lol. I plan to get to that sometime this week. FI is gone to Charlotte for the week so I asked my mom to stay with me because I don't like to be alone. I can't wait for him to come home on Friday. Kelsey..the State Club is beautiful! FI would never let me even consider that as a venue since we're Pirates..lol. For some reason, he is allowing us to get married at The Carolina Inn even though he hates Carolina.
