Wilmington videographer

I'm looking for a videographer and love the clips on the blog of Brick Street Cinema, out of Wilmington.  Has anyone used them? I actually haven't heard back from them yet so I don't know the price, but I'm hoping it's not too high (but betting it will be).  I was formally in love with Life Stage Film (also out of Wilmington) but had to make peace with the fact that I couldn't afford to hire them.

If anyone is familiar with either of these, that is the quality I was hoping to get but I'm realizing I probably can't get that on my budget.

Does anyone know of any other reasonably priced videographers in the Wilmington area?  I would really like to stay under $2000.

Let me know what you find out.  I was refered to them by someone at the bridal expo yesterday.  I have never heard of them.  I too am looking for a videographer in Wilmington.  With your budget though you could go with pretty much any other videographer in Wilmington.  Most of the ones I have checked out (besides Life Stages) where under 2k.  Look on capefearwedding.com or on craigslist.

yea, i grew up with the owner of Life Stage and I think his prices are crazy...

You might want to open up your search to other areas too. My sister was married in Wrightsville Beach and her videographer was from Raleigh (clinevideo.com is his website). She did not have any luck finding a reasonable price from anyone in Wilmington for her date, but almost everyone she contacted in Raleigh was willing to come to Wilmington.

My FI and I were goint to use Brick Street Cinemas as our videographer! They were the closest I could get to Life Stage They are very nice. We met them at the wedding expo at the Schwartz center.  However, I emailed Matt Davis (owner of Life Stage) out of curiousity to see if my date was available and it was!!!

My cousin went to college with him and they were really good friends. He did her wedding when he was just getting started about 5 years ago!! He had known my dad and other members in my family so it just seemed like a really good fit! I know his prices are high but to me they are worth EVERY PENNY!

My FI and I from the beginning of our wedding planning set alot of our budget of photography and videography because those are the things you are going to have FOREVER! So we decided that was really important to us.

We just so happend to be completely blessed and had an answer to prayer! Someone (we havent found out who yet) called Matt and paid for our entire video. CRAZY I KNOW. I couldnt stop crying when matt emailed me. I had been praying about it for so long..and things like that dont happen to me! All I can say is there is nothing wrong with just finding things out for the heck of it because you never know where they might take you!!!
